V.A.T. Values Canvases
Just look at the amazing Batik work the children in Year 1 and 2 have created.
Batik is made by placing hot wax onto material and then using liquid dye to colour the material with the wax acting as a barrier that stops the dye from spreading. The children then put hot wax over the first dye and, when dry, use a second dye to make the colours stronger. When the second dye hits the wax it doesn't colour under it and so you get two different colours. The wax is then taken out with an iron and paper and the process is completed.
There is one canvas for each of the 5 values.
