Congratulations to our WGT winner who made it to the final along with 34 others. It was tough competition but we loved the variety of the act and the entertainment factor. The children totally appreciated the bottle flipping skills.
Whitehall's One Voice choir made a fantastic appearance at Walsall's Singing Festival. They wowed the crowds with their own version of Katie Perry's ROAR - with words written to champion our school ROAR values. They then sang one of school favourites - Jump up, it's a good day! We were mentioned three times for our brilliant performance, energy and diction. We were very proud of them.
Year 1 had great fun learning about Africa and learnt a poem that they desperately wanted to perform to EVERYONE!
It is midnight on Sunday the 2nd of September 1666. A baker has left his oven alight in his bakery on pudding lane. Oh, no! What is going to happen? Watch the video and see a live reconstruction of the Great Fire of London by Year 1.
Mrs Dogan's off-the-WRI-programme reading group have been working hard to learn how to perform a poem to an audience. In just two days, they have read it, learnt it, and created their own actions to support the performance of the poem: Have You Met a Wolf by James Carter. It is a very nerve-racking experience to perform to an audience for the first time, but we think they did a great job.
Chinese New Year came in with a bang at Whitehall! The children in Reception celebrated with a Chinese Dance workshop to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Below is Class 9's performance.
Watch the Whitehall Infant Cellists perform their latest concert. They were joined by the Cellists from Whitehall Junior Academy.
