SEN Learning Support Assistant
30 hours per week term time only

£16,662.76 - £18,117.52 actual salary
Do you have SEN experience or a special school background?
We wish to appoint a learning support assistant for 30hrs per week to join our successful and supportive staff team at this wonderful school. The role will provide support for children in class who have special educational needs.
The job will start January 2025 subject to successful recruitment checks and DBS; the post will last until August 31st 2025 with the hope that we will be able to extend this for another academic year.
Whitehall Nursery & Infant school has a secure and caring ethos and the staff work well together to include and support all pupils.
You will be working very closely with the Inclusion Manager and other staff within the class to support both academic progress and basic pragmatics. Experience of working with children with ASD would be an advantage. Experience of basic child development and good maths and literacy skills are essential.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will depend on a successful DBS and two references.
